Christina Daerr Reid, LAc
NC License #193

Some practitioners treat conditions. Daerr treats people — and after more than two decades of clinical practice, she has come to understand that pain, illness, and disease are rarely the whole story. They are the body’s way of pointing toward something deeper: an imbalance, a misalignment, a pattern that has outlived its usefulness. Her work is to help you find it — and move through it.

Daerr brings an exceptional depth of training to every session. A graduate of Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, she holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and earned her Diplomate from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2000. She has been in clinical practice since 2001 — first in her hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina, and in Raleigh since 2015 — treating the full spectrum of acute and chronic conditions with a clinical precision that her colleagues and referring providers have come to trust.

Her foundation is traditional. Her approach has evolved.

Over the past seven years, Daerr has undergone a profound deepening in her understanding of the body, health, and healing. Drawing on classical acupuncture alongside esoteric acupuncture, hands-on healing, sacred geometry, vibrational sound, and other integrative modalities, she has developed a treatment model that works at multiple levels simultaneously — physical, emotional, and energetic. The result is care that doesn’t just manage symptoms, but begins to address what created them.

Her clinical toolkit is extensive: traditional and esoteric acupuncture, therapeutic massage, cupping, gua sha, moxa, herbal medicine, essential oils, nutritional and supplement review, meditation, and vibrational therapies. Daerr works with patients across all health concerns — pain, neurological conditions, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, and more — and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and allied healthcare providers throughout the Triangle.

Daerr also brings a distinguished record of professional leadership. She served as President of the NC Society of Acupuncture and Asian Medicine, Vice President of Acupuncture Advocates PAC, NC Representative on the Council of State Associations, and as an Ambassador at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine Conference. She holds her North Carolina license and is a prior member of the National Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Now, with her own practice once again, Daerr is doing the work she was made for — offering each patient a carefully crafted, deeply personalized healing experience.
